 Pastor Shaw is native of Memphis, who grew up in the North Memphis housing Projects.

Pastor Shaw is a first-generation preacher, who has been married to his wife Veronica for over 12 years and are the proud parents of 7 children and many grandchildren.

Pastor Shaw is an effective communicator, who applies the word widely to Gods people and is also known for his practical and dynamic teaching styles which helps people apply the timeless truth of scripture to their everyday lives.

IN the late 80’s at the age of 25 he met his mentor Doctor Alfred Dewayne Hill of Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church Memphis, TN.

Throughout this encounter and under his mentor’s tutelage he received his formal training and call to the ministry Recognizing and nurturing the anointing and calling upon his life.

 Dr. Hill appointed him to various offices and position with in the church which include Deacon, Sunday School teacher.

With the sudden passing of Dr. Hill, he later Joined Jesus is the way C.o.g.i.c , under the leadership of Pastor Willie J Hilliard who had a major impact on his life going forward in the ministry.

In the following years of preparation, God Released him to embark upon his own ministry as Pastor of the Let Your light Shine Outreach Ministry, demonstrating unwavering Faith, he made the decision to devote his life and service to the ministry in obedience to God.
